So the NJ CAR DEALERS are afraid of a car company that sold 22,400 cars globally last year? They sure are! And Governor Christie and the Dealers will protect their special interests rather than the planet and the people of NJ. Nice.
The WSJ says,
“Dealers fear Tesla's model could cause directing selling to spread to other manufacturers, ending a century-old system that protects the sales territories and investments of many independent businesspeople.”
Or is it simply that the Dealers see the end of the line for their gas guzzling products and are afraid that their own electric technology isn’t innovative enough?
Fear based marketing doesn’t work. Temporarily preventing competition doesn't work. However, true innovation and doing the right thing for your customers and the planet, that works.
